Those tomatoes are ripening nicely in your kitchen! Mine tend not to do so well off the vines - wrong windowsill?

Yes, each year we bring in the last bit of tomatoes to ripen in the kitchen. Even better they ripen slowly and I cook dishes around what's ripe that day as not to waste a single tomato!
